Mr. Lang’s Background
In 2018 at age 24, Antwan Lang became the youngest elected official in Chatham County history with his election to the Board of Elections.
Currently:
– Member of the Georgia National Guard
– He is a court appointed Special Advocate for Children
– Chairman of the Board of the Alice Blount Academy
– Working towards an MBA at Mercer University
Education:
– BS degree in Liberal Arts, Savannah State University
– Masters in Political Science & Public Policy, Savannah State University
– Legislative aide in both the Georgia House & Senate
Activities:
– Served on the Cultural Affairs Commission, City of Savannah
– Past president of the Savannah Jayees
– Member of the NAACP & 100 Black Men of Savannah
