On December 14 at 3:00 pm, the Skidaway Hamiltons will host a presentation on evictions by Managing Attorney Bill Broker and Staff Attorney Shaina Thompson with Georgia Legal Services in Savannah.
Georgia Legal Services is the sole source of legal help for those facing eviction. Mr. Broker and Ms. Thompson are on the front lines fighting on behalf of low-income people facing the loss of their homes. They will present on the daily struggles people in our community face in attempting to maintain a home. Theirs is a unique perspective; they negotiate with landlords, appear in local courts, interface with rental assistance programs, and know well the issues the community faces.
