Please join Skidaway Hamiltons and the Abigails on Tuesday, April 16 (3:30pm) at the Messiah Lutheran Church for a presentation entitled “Age Is Just a Number” by Dr. Kathleen Benton, the President/CEO of Hospice Savannah. She will discuss various care options available for today’s adults to age gracefully at home. Dr. Benton holds a doctorate in Public Health and a masters in Bioethics.

Learn more about this organization, especially its expanded emphasis on palliative care and aging in place services. An innovator in the field of hospice and palliative care, Dr. Benton shares her deep knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for offering a variety of caring services for those wishing to age in place. Discover how today’s hospice care is not just about death and dying – it’s also about living a pain-free and joyful life in one’s home. Expect a lively Q&A session!

The Skidaway Hamiltons is a nonpartisan organization of civic-minded men who address some of today’s most important issues for building strong, viable, and sustainable neighborhoods and communities. Previous programs have focused on community growth, housing, environment, education, social justice, mental health, public safety, hunger, and employment. We will wrap up our 2023-2024 year with our final program on May 1st. This will be a year-end social for members and their guests.
