Please join us as we welcome Clark Alexander, Director and Professor of the UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, and Alan W. Robertson, Principal, AWR Strategic Consulting to speak on how Sea Level Rise and Climate Change are altering our relationship with the Coastal Environment.
Professor Alexander will present the data that demonstrates how sea levels are changing on a variety of timescales and discuss the implications of these changes for the built environment. Mr. Robertson will discuss how the City of Tybee Island is proactively working to address this changing environment and will describe efforts toward making an island surrounded by water sustainable and resilient for the future.
