Chatham County Superior Court Candidates to Speak
Chatham County Superior Court judge James Bass will not seek re-election when his term ends in 2020. There are two non-partisan candidates running to succeed him, Juvenile Court judge Lisa Colbert and attorney Tracy O’Connell.
The Skidaway Hamiltons are pleased to announce that both women will present at its January 21, 2020 meeting which will be held at 7:00 pm at the Messiah Lutheran Church.
The meeting will be partly educational…providing an overview of the Chatham County judicial system and the role of the Superior Court judge. Both women will also have the opportunity to present their backgrounds and their “case” as candidates. Both women are very enthusiastic about this event, not only for the exposure they will get but also for the opportunity to help educate.
We believe this is a rare opportunity for us to come together as interested citizens, and we welcome all to attend.
